The animals that come to us were born in captivity. Therefore, they’re domesticated animals and not wild (we don’t remove wolves from the forest and “rescue” them from their natural habitat because…they belong there).
Our foster animals come from all kinds of situations and from either owners themselves or from local and out-of-state animal shelters.
From the moment they come into our care, they’re in rehab and training. Trust and respect will be the first to fashion and how long it takes to form this type of relationship with each individual rescue, depends on the animal.
